For those unaware and uninitiated, Video Games Live is an opportunity to bathe in the warm glow of an orchestra performing soundtracks from most if not all of your beloved games, while they're played out on a massive projector.

As a geeky enterprise our attendance is not only required but demanded. Tickets aren't cheap (£30 or so), but they're most assuredly worth it. Consider it a highbrow version of the failed theme park adventure, but with far less fail.

Meet up at the Southbank Centre entrance and we'll go from there.

Protip: There are two showings, if you're buying on your own and not through the fund, we're getting the 8pm, not the 4pm.
