unfortunately charities are the Bluebell railway and blind african children. But I don't think we can rule out scientologists syphoning a bit off the top. Maybe an exorbetant 'fee' for the jive aces going straight back to the org.

I heard today that one of the Aces, the lead/trumpet player, has recruited his sister to the cult and that both of them have disconnected from their dad, who is very ill.

I wouldn't use this specific information, too OSA-ish to be creepy like that, but it is of interest.
