In light of the fact it's July and chasing round London is going to be hot as fuck and we'll all die of heatstroke, a more sedate pre-raid social is required. Fortunately, the British Film Institute has come up trumps, and as part of their Bad Film Day on the 5th July

they are going to be showing the sci-fi "classic" Battlefield Earth.

Because we are such big fans of L Ron Hubbards work, it would be criminal for us not to go along and enjoy his "masterpiece".

The showing itself will have live MST3K style commentary. Beforehand there will be a rundown by the evening's hosts of their best worst films of all time. Following Battlefail Earth, there will allegedly be cocktails.

Dress code: Formal Anonymous/Marcab Confederacy uniform (suit, EFG mask, fedora) if at all possible. Note that any event displayed on this site can be seen by the public, so never be too careful.

Tickets cost £15.00 (increased to £16.00 to accommodate the PayPal transaction fee). This entitles you to not only view the movie (6PM) but watch the bad film countdown (4PM). Apologies for the incorrect initial price - your costs are covered.

Buy Now! - The fund will expire on midnight 22nd June 2008 and tickets will be purchased on Monday 30th June (subject to change depending on availability... we may be able to keep the fund active for longer if there are many tickets spare)... its a really shit film.
