It says it's a fully ticketed event and that ticket holders will need to arrive early to get a good view - thus I deduce that most (or all) of the water will be offlimits. Still, there'll be media.

They're taking up valuable space on both sides of the serpentine. We may have to reschedule the picnic because that day will suck.

How will it suck? Even if we're not in the ticketed event area, tons of people will see us, and there will be cameras everywhere, it'll be chaotic and lulzy.

Dear Flugtag Fan,
Thank you for your recent request for tickets for the Red Bull Flugtag on 7th June 2008.
Demand for Red Bull Flugtag tickets has been unprecedented and as a result it hasn't been possible to give them to everyone who wants to come along and watch this event. We wish we didn't have to disappoint anyone but I'm afraid your request was not drawn from our final ballot and it will therefore not be possible for you to watch this event live*.
However, it's not all bad news; you can still catch all the action in a dedicated Red Bull Flugtag television programme which is scheduled to be broadcast on the following dates:
• Sunday 15th June on ITV4 at 4.00pm (90 min show)
• Monday 16th June on ITV4 at 8.00pm (60 min show)
• Monday 23rd June on ITV1 at 12:15am (60 min show)
TV broadcast times are subject to change. Please refer to your TV guide nearer the scheduled broadcast dates/times.
*Please do not come to Hyde Park on 7th June as it will not be possible to view any part of this event from outside the perimeter fence.

The park will be absolutely packed with people having picnics etc. 80,000 people. I don't think 20 anon are going to be having the impact you think.

one more reason why the date shouldn't have been moved to the 7th. Not only will the throng waste a perfectly good picnic afternoon, but the noise, number of people, and ridiculously sized contest will make us look like fools.
I want to come but I'm not sure the pros out-weight the cons.
