5:12 pm 8th June i doubt the FP will do it anyway. it would be stupid. at the very least, theres the effort involved, even if your pulling it from cctv camarasnot to mention that this is a shop that sells to geeks messing around with the internet phonomone of the hour (or, indeed not, i just dont think it would end well for them PR wise) |

12:47 am 13th June Giving the police a heads up is definitely a good idea, particularly because the Met seem to be pretty helpful and understanding. I think they 'get' Anonymous, at least to some degree.
Unfortunately, I think it was only a matter of time before they considered the possibility of some kind of infiltration. It's a fairly easy way for them to be directly belligerent.
We'll have to keep our eyes open and be as good as we can at self-monitoring, without stifling ourselves. We should be prepared for scuffles and for attempts to damage our equipment. If they want to dampen the protest, destruction of trollcannons/megaphones will help them, as well as swinging punches and confusing police officers who do not know which masked V to arrest. |

1:17 pm 13th June If the Sons of Elron are indeed asking you to provide photos of anyone who buys a 'V' mask, then the solution to this is obvious. Only take photos of the customers with their masks on, and provide those photos.
Also, please scan the flyer and make it available to the folks at www.enturbulation.org. As Anon says, it would be an EPIC FAIL. |

6:03 pm 13th June We need a group of about 10/20 of us at some point to head over to FP and check the following:
1. That photos have not been passed out of purchasers.
2. Request a video recording of an employee of FP confirming that Scientologists have attempted to do this. (Whoever gets the video should blur it so the employee's identity is safe.)
3.Request our own copy of the faces of the Sci's who went in there are requested they get a copy of our faces. In turn, we will then use the collected information for a counter attack.
Good idea?
BTW, reason I say 10 or more is so that a small group will be able to probably get it especially if we seem worried, (Which we are...) and will probably make them consider helping us out more. Also, so a single Anon stands less chance of being caught by Sci's. I would suggest 2 stand outside the front door like foot men just to let the Sci's know we're onto them. |

No.
T3H-LINUX-GUY, what you're suggesting would actually be in breach of the same Data Protection Act laws that are supposed to protect us from the scilons. |

5:48 am 14th June Choose a new mask for the event. Is there any producer of lrh masks? Also even though I am in the wrong hemisphere to help you londoners, perhaps a bit of street theatre in the form of dramatic readings from bare faced messiah would go down well. |

7:47 pm 14th June Guys, the COS is already facing 2 complaints from the information commissioner for breaches under the Data protection act. Here they are asking a company to take down personal information and breach the DPA. Are you able to get a statement to confirm this?
The information commissioner has the power to completely cripple scientologys financial and information base in the UK. If we can show another clear cut breach of the DPA then the information commissioner may well wade straight in and would put a complete and utter stop to fair gaming in the UK. From then, any european anons can cite the UK and get a pre-emptive stop on fair gaming in any EU country. |

5:17 pm 15th June They asked the shop to take photos of *their customers* on *their* premises and share it with *another* business, without the knowledge of the person concerned?
Tell the OSA. NOW. Let them give the Planet a call and see if it is true. One DPA breach, coming right up. |

9:04 pm 15th June I passed the story on to a reporter yesterday, and it should appear it tommorow's newspaper. (Monday.) It was either the Independent or the Guardian, but he was actually a rather nice guy. (I'm used to the idea of journalists being the forceful bigot... ^^)
Either way, suggest you all go out and buy both tommorow. Also, yeah, it sounds like he's going to FP to check the story himself. Where-as a recoding from us may sound a bit suspicous, (Since we want it to come out as this,) a news report from a trusted paper/journalist will definently be evidence enough. ^^ |
