As you've probably noticed during Fair Game: Stop, the police will be asked to v& you if your sign just gives of hints of what could be said 'religious' hatred.
While it would make signs much harder to read, I was thinking that displaying both 'scientology = religion' and 'CoScientology = cult' on the same signs would reduce the likeliness of a van a lot.
I do know that scientology itself is fucked, but as long as they can play the religious persecution card, people will be v&, so if you can make the difference, it'll probably annoy them quite a lot. (Especially since we couldn't care less about how freezoners (flip their lives upside down) practice it, since at least it's _partly_ their own choice)
tl;dr:
printf('Scientology == religion && CoS == cult/scam\n');

I think that after the v&ing there won't be trouble at the next raid.
If the dude loses we don't put down cult, if the dude wins they have no legal standing to stop us putting up the signs.

Until the v& guy actually has his trial this is still in force. Provided we still do QVS:

1) No 'cult'
2) No 'scam'
3) No 'kills'

That's all I know that got people threatened by cops, does anyone know of anything else?

And of course there are probably sneaky, passive-aggressive ways to word signs that won't get cops in our face but will say the same thing just as clearly.

i print tee shirts and my thought was to have 4 anons each with a single letter on a shirt so when we/they line up it reads C,U,L,T, and if there's a problem they can switch round so the 'C' word is scrambled.... at least until a scilon emerges from the org...... we could also have an 'N' shirt to swap with the 'L' shirt just to really piss 'em off

My recommendation would be not to testthr police too much on this, the CPS has set the restrictions, they are merely enforcing it. Obviously, this kind of censorship is meaningless and we are working on a legal solution.

One anon is facing court action over this already, and while this may indeed set a precident to call the cult a cult, we should aim for no more v& anons this time.

My suggestion would be to replace 'cult' with any other noun, since it's hard to bawwww about you calling their 'religion' a zebra or something. Where censorship rears its ugly head, attack with surrealism.

re. the OP- as scientology and Co$ are the same in most people's eyes (had you heard of the freezone before you got into Project Chanology?) signs referring to scientology as a religion could be confusing for the general public and the police.

I'm going to be doing a half-assed survey at the next protest, asking people to describe what they think of Scientology in one word.

Mainly so I can get footage of people saying 'cult' :v

I'm of the opinion that it'd be better that everyone come with a sign denoting Scientology as a cult so that absolutely everyone gets v@nd.
As v@nning goes this is pretty mild so I think there would be a certain impact if 800 were reported in the news as having their freedom of speech stifled in this manner

I agree with >>1996, but the problem there is that getting anon to do anything together is like herding cats.
